Visiting Istanbul?

Hello dear Guests,
Are you interested in taking a sightseeing tour of Istanbul with your own experienced personal tour guide?

My name is Mustafa, I am a licensed tour guide offering private group walking and driving tours to Istanbul.
I was born in 1978, have studied tourism and foreign languages and I have been living in Istanbul for more than 20 years.  I have a passion for this brilliant city and all the wonderful things it has to offer! With so many historical sites, palaces, towers, fortresses, churches, mosques, shops, hamams, delicious food and much more, Istanbul is an exciting place to discover...

To have a private tour guide is the best way to fully appreciate the richness of Turkey's history, culture and cuisine. Unlike a guidebook, a private guide can answer any question that may pop into your head, explain what you're seeing right at that moment, and provide far more information than can fit in a book.  I can help you to buy the tickets as I have priority to buy them to touristic sites, so you don't waste your time waiting in lines; I know how to use your precious travel time most efficiently...

I look forward to meeting you, offering you unparalleled service and sharing the history and culture of my Country. I love this city, my favorite city in Turkey and I try to do my best for my guests so that they learn some about the history of the city, traditions of Turkish people, taste delicious food and feel the Turkish hospitality. I can take you wherever you want or I can recommend you some schedules which we can do daily. Please check out the schedules or we can do different programs together. If you have any suggestions or questions, please feel free to let me know. I will be happy to be your tour guide in this amazing city!

  1. I met Mustafa first in March, 2011 when we did his Tour #2: The Bosphorus & 2 Continents.
Based on my travel experiences (I do touristic trips 4-5 times a year) and observations about other tourguides, I can confidently state that he's one of the bests: smart, intelligent, patient, humble and very good in communicating with foreigners.
He did a great job and we were so much satisfied with his knowledge, kindness and proficiency that we contacted him again in March 2013 to hold a private tour for us in this beautiful city. Needless to say, he was brilliant and when we visit this extraordinary city in 2014, would like to have him again!
I highly recommend him to everyone who would like to spend their time useful in Istanbul!

  2. My friends and I were fortunate enough to score Mustafa as our guide while we were in Istanbul in 2010.

Not only was he very friendly, but he knew everything about everything there was to see in town, and was able to direct us to the non-touristy places that we could explore on our own after hours.

    Mustafa's tour is a must-do in Istanbul!

  3. My family and I really struck gold when we obtained the services of Mustafa as a tour guide during our visit to Istanbul in the summer of 2013. As a student of history, this was a great score as there is so much of it in Istanbul and Mustafa tells you all about it! The amount of places we were able to see in our two-day tour was amazing and I couldn't believe how much we got done in such a short time. He's also a very personable, down-to-earth guy and it was really a pleasure getting to know him.

  4. I had the great fortune of being in Mustafa's tour group when I visited Istanbul during Ramadan two summers ago. He was professional, very attentive, helpful, friendly and also a great conversationalist. He made the rest of my visit very enjoyable and showed me cool, local spots to get away from the touristy view of the beautiful, vibrant city. He also gave me tips about what to see on my own based on my personal taste. I wouldn't want to see Istanbul and the surroundings with any other guide! Thanks for a memorable time!

  5. A professional tour guide is a ‘must’ in Istanbul! There’s so much to see! We found Mustafa to be a very professional, patient, flexible, and knowledgeable guide. Having a professional tour guide made the experience much more exceptional because we didn’t waste any time. We were able to see so much in such a limited time!
We learned very interesting historical connections, not just the common facts, and enjoyed the clear and stimulating explanations. Our tour of Istanbul was fun and memorable, perfectly paced allowing us to see the highlights of the city in a very well organized manner.
I’d definitely and without hesitation recommend Mustafa to my friends and anyone traveling to Turkey! Thanks Mustafa for an unforgettable tour of Istanbul!
